The Gaia Amazon Fund is working alongside indigenous communities to affirm their traditional knowledge and practices exercise their rights and expand their territories.
Indigenous territories and protected areas cover two-thirds of this area, the most biologically and culturally diverse region of the Amazon Basin.
100 million hectares of tropical rainforest and its biological diversity, in the Northwest Amazon, can be protected with your help making a tax-deductible donation to The Gaia Amazon Fund.
The Gaia Amazon Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Over twenty years of work in the Northwest Amazon, we have relied on the generous support of major institutions as well as individuals like you. It is through these contributions that we can continue to provide our services in conjunction with the traditional indigenous peoples of the Amazon.
Thank you for your support, whatever form it takes.
Please feel free to contact Andrea Armeni, Executive Director, or call us to discuss the ways in which you can help.
